Family Together Forever

We did it!!! Yesterday we celebrated our anniversary in the most special way. Well it's been 5 years waiting and preparing for this special day. We celebrated our wedding anniversary taking our family to the Rexburg Idaho Temple to be sealed together for eternity.
Dave and I feel we have completed a small journey in our lives. We met in Rexburg while I was a student at BYU-Idaho, and he was a local. When I moved to Las Vegas to complete my teaching degree, he moved there to support and keep this relationship going. We decided it we wanted to go back to Rexburg to be married. Five years later and a few moves to different places, when we decided to go to the Temple to be sealed, there was only one place that felt right. We knew that the Rexburg Temple would mean so much to us to be joined there together, along with our son, Matthew.
There were a few people who were able to be there and celebrate with us and we want to thank them. We also missed a few people who were unable to be there too, but know that we carried you with us in our hearts. We especially felt the closeness of those who've passed on before us and felt they were their to watch and support us in this special moment.
This special day and event in our lives has meant so much to us and we want to share a few of the photos of that day with you. We want to thank all our family and friends who've shared this moment with us and have supported us along the way. Thank You.

Summer Fun

Hi all. Dave and I are so excited for the summer season and all the wonderful things that are happening in our family. We are seriously living it up in Pocatello, Idaho. It's been a year we have lived here and we love our neighbors and ward friends. I am currently serving as the 1st counselor in the Relief Society, Dave is serving as librarian, ward web master, and ward bulletin. We are busy in our ward, Matthew just recieved his first talk in Primary. This summer we have a lot of plans for family building activities. We are planning a camping trip, trips to the zoo, water-balloon fights in the backyard, and lots of other exciting activities. The biggest plan this summer is that on June 4th, our 5th wedding anniversary, Dave and I will be sealed for eternity in the Rexburg Idaho Temple. We are so excited. Matthew will be sealed to us as well. What an awesome anniversary gift. We have been so blessed.
